2013 CHAPTER ELECTION:  We will be electing our Chapter President, and five members of our Board of Directors, in a Vote by Acclamation, on Sunday, May 19th, immediately prior to the beginning of our 6:00 PM Pentecost Sunday Mass at St. Margaret’s Church.  All members are encouraged to be present, and participate in this election process on May 19th.

“MOON OVER WASHINGTON” POTLUCK DINNER:  This year’s “Moon Over Washington” Potluck Dinner Party takes place on Saturday, June 1st, beginning at 7:00 PM, on the rooftop at the home of one of our members, in NW Washington.  Please see our Sunday Bulletin at church, or contact the Dignity Center office on (202) 546-2235, for more information.    

BOOK CLUB: The Dignity Washington Book Club meets every Thursday  at 7:30 PM at the Dignity Center to read and discuss various books of topical interest.

MOVIE NIGHTS AT THE DIGNITY CENTER: Movie Nights at the Dignity Center are held on two Mondays each month.  The dates, and films being shown, during upcoming months are as follows:  May 6 – “The Smiling Lieutenant;” May 20- “Love Me Tonight;” June 10 - “French Cancan” (in French, w/English subtitles);  June 24- “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” (in French, w/English subtitles);  July 8 - “Phantom of the Paradise;” July 22 – “Moulin Rouge;” August 5 – “The Big Gay Musical;” and, August 19 – “The Wizard of Oz.”

Doors open on each Movie Night at 7:00 PM, and the movie begins at 7:30. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Please join us!

D/W BRIDGE GROUP:  Join us for “casual” contract Bridge one or two Tuesdays of each month at 7:30 at the Dignity Center.  Please check back later, and also see our Sunday Bulletin, for future Bridge dates.

“TABLES OF SIX” DINNERS: Periodically throughout the year, on Saturday evenings, we have our “Tables of Six” dinner program.  Several volunteer hosts open their homes and provide the entree for dinner;  and five other guests are randomly assigned to each table, and bring the rest of the food and drink for the meal.

POTLUCK DINNERS: Several times each year we sponsor informal potluck dinners either at church after Sunday Mass or on a Saturday evening at the home of one of our members.  Please see our Sunday Bulletin at church, for more information about upcoming events; or, please contact the Dignity Center office on (202) 546-2235.
